Buoys floating in Sediment Pond
SURGE
Thornton Creek Water Quality Channel
This pond slows the storm flow and captures sediment. Plants absorb pollutants. The bouys reveal this process with orange (bad stuff) and blue (clean water) color scheme. The pond will be drained every 5 years for sediment removal and replanting.
